Earlier this week, The Wall Street Journal ran an article on the first documented trans-Atlantic journey by a mini-sub carrying narcotics -- in this case, 3 tonnes of cocaine worth $100 million -- from South America to Europe. (There likely have been previous journeys not thwarted by first bad weather and then authorities.) This map, from The Wall Street Journal, shows the sub's route, as re-created by Spanish police.
