OUTSIDE THE BOX:
The Chincoteague Bay Field Station in Wallops Island, VA, is hosting a marine science program for home school families April 1-3. (Students must attend with a parent or chaperone, but there is both a residential and a commuter option for families who prefer to make their own accommodations.) Participants will learn about barrier islands and coastal ecology and will engage in estuarine sampling and identification.
